Knowing God’s Character

Exodus 33

The more I read the Old Testament, the more I marvel at Moses.

When God called him to lead the Israelite out of Egypt, he tried every excuse to avoid being the leader. But once he accepted the position, he fully embraced the role (almost all the time).

He was an excellent example of an intercessor; we know he is not perfect, but I marvel at his diplomatic skill.

Every time the Israelite got into trouble, Moses mediated and bailed them out, lol.

But we know he can accomplish saving their butt is because he knows God’s heart.

Moses knew God’s character- compassionate, gracious, slow to anger, and abundant of loyal love and faithfulness.

If we can hold down to that truth, we can all be more effective in praying for our loved ones!
