Hi, I'm Vivian Uang, the human behind Purple Martin Lettering & Graphics.
I am a lettering artist and designer based in New York City. I create typography art because I believe in the power of words- the words we speak to ourselves and the words spoken to us by others. Subconsciously, the words in our minds determine our actions, and my passion is to create word arts that inspire and encourage others.
I am a little bipolar when it comes to the medium; I could spend days going extremely old-school writing calligraphy with a traditional dip-pen, yet other times I could be meticulous about pixel-perfection for digitally created art.
